By utilising our platform and participating in our programs, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Registered Organisation:

A registered organisation is one that has provided all required information to the Firefly Initiative. This includes but is not limited to, the legal name of the organisation, registered place of business, a corporate logo, contact details for the primary and secondary administrators of the Firefly account, and the total number of volunteers and members representing the organisation. It is the responsibility of the registered organisation to maintain the accuracy of this information. Firefly Initiative reserves the right to verify the submitted information for authenticity and completeness.

2. Registered Volunteer Member:

A registered volunteer member is an individual who has voluntarily provided necessary information to the Firefly Initiative. This includes the full name of the volunteer, contact details (phone number and email address), and the affiliated organisation. Volunteer members are an integral part of our community, and they must adhere to our code of conduct and community guidelines.

3. Fundraising Made Easy (Information Session):

All fundraising sessions undertaken by Firefly Initiative seek to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Firefly Initiative platform, its value to volunteers and volunteer organisations, and the various sponsorships and funding programs available and provided by our amazing partners. By accepting an invitation to attend these sessions, attendees agree to allow the Firefly Initiative to utilise the content of the session in the production of marketing and promotional material.

4. Funding Qualifications:

Sponsorship at different levels is contingent on an organisation meeting the prescribed criteria. These criteria ensure that only organisations actively participating in our platform and contributing positively to our community qualify for sponsorship. Firefly Initiative reserves the right to verify an organisation’s compliance with these criteria before awarding funding.

5. Network Growth Bonuses:

These bonuses represent an opportunity for each organisation to receive additional sponsorship by assisting Firefly in growing its volunteering network. By promoting our platform and bringing in new organisations and volunteer members, organisations stand a chance to earn extra rewards.

6. Distribution of Funds:’

All sponsorship funds will be transferred via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) upon the organisation providing a valid tax invoice made out to either “The Club” or “The Brook”. The total sponsorship amount awarded to each organisation will be announced at our annual Presentation of Sponsorships event on the 21st of June at The Club in Caroline Springs

Continued use of our platform and participation in our programs constitutes agreement to these terms and conditions. Please note, these terms and conditions may change from time to time. Changes will be communicated to the organisation by the Firefly Initiative
